I've lived in the shadow of this mountain my entire life and run the punishing road up it countless times, yet it never ceases to astonish me with both its beauty and its uncompromising cruelty. While the sunrise didn't burn, the moonset as blue hour faded to dawn was spectacular. February 2019.
