I staked out numerous fox dens this spring with only limited success, but this inquisitive kit was happy to spare me a few minutes of his time. Unable to coax any siblings out of the den, he played by himself, giving me a curious glance every few minutes. Hopefully I’m able to capture him wrestling with his brothers and sisters before they grow up and disperse. April 2021.
