I went to photograph a scene I’ve run by a thousand times. Of course, the fog didn’t burn off quite how I imagined it, so that shot was a total no-go. Sometimes I can be a little myopic when taking photos, but this time, fortunately, I did take in my surroundings. I was pleased to find some crazy light beams filtering through the fog and treeline behind me. This is a little more abstract than what I normally shoot, but I love the way the sun highlights the rim of the branches. October 2020.
