I saw heavy fog this morning and almost didn’t go out to take photos, but figured I’d go for a run at the reservoir and bring the camera along just in case; I’m so glad I did. As the sun rose, the mist in the forest lit up with a sublime luminescence. This is exactly the type of scene I picture when reading of Tolkien’s fairytale forests like Fangorn and Mirkwood.
